According to the Board of Equalization web site... "If you disagree with your 2019 real property valuation, you may file a 2019 real property valuation protest with the Douglas County Board of Equalization between June 1, 2019, and July 1, 2019."

Kyle or anyone, Have you ever hired a service to protest on your behalf or just always done it yourself?

It is almost tax protest season in Nebraska and I will be protesting the tax assessment on at least one of my properties in Omaha that has gone up by nearly 28% over last year.  Would anyone like to share their experience, good or bad, with local tax protest services in Omaha?
