Post: Wholesaling in small towns

Hello there I'm currently scouting a home in a very small Town in South Carolina (population 2000+) does any have good experiences with small towns?

The home is a 5/4 4000sqft 3 story colonial type home that needs repairs but it's not in a major city so I'm not sure if it would be easy to find a buyer

Also I'm from Florida would I have to use a title company in sc or can I use one here in FL?

how is the market out in st Pete for investors? Looking into wholesaling homes out there

Thanks for the Knowledge guys good to know

Thanks, @John Underwood  I'm looking in the Florida market. I now understand in order to warranty the property a quit claim needs to be filed.  So basically if I buy a property from a tax deed auction it doesn't automatically wipe out all liens or mortgages, and I would have to do a title search before or after the sale to find out? If there are any liens would I be responsible?

After winning a tax deed from the auction is a "quit claim" always required if wanting to sell home quick? Also does previous owner have to sign as well?
