Hi my name is Greg & to answer your question.

I live in New Orleans & im a license contractor in the state & what i know is that depends on if it's structual you will need a contractor & if it's Cosmetics you will not need a contractor.

At the same time keep in mind you will always need a license sub contractor such as electrical, plumbing, mechanical, etc. Feel free to contact me again if i can help.

Hi bigger pockets world. Life is in high gear and things are changing fast so with that in mind we all gotta decide what's our next move. Some people will make the decision to partner with some one with other strong suits in real estate and the reason being is because that exactly what it take a team. I'm writing this letter to start my search for people who have other strong points to see if we can work together and begin a personal real estate partnership. I'm a contractor by trade in New Orleans. I'm hoping to find agents, other investors, money lenders, etc. If your interested in working with me in any capacity please feel free to contact me anytime.

This is a great way to learn how to be a landlord, you can live there for free with cash flow

Look for a small local Community bank or small local credit union.

Much success to you!
