100% yes. Just like with any book, take what makes sense for you and your life and then apply it appropriately. But the general concepts are great!

@Brian Buxton Hey Brian, unfortunately I ended up being unable to make it last night. I needed to get some accounting in order for the business. I'm sad I missed the meet up. Are the meet ups on a regular schedule and where do they happen? How do I get 'in the know' about then.

Looking forward to joining and meeting you. Thanks so much!

Hey @Martin Grizzanti - Thanks for the suggestion, I'll reach out and have a chat with them.

I'd love to come to a meet up. When does it happen and what are the requirements for it? Thanks so much!

Thanks @Michael David, I hadn't tried that yet. I appreciate that link and the idea to search there. Appreciate it.

Hi All,

We're at a place where we're looking for a great handyman/woman here in Rochester, NY. We don't have enough work to keep someone employed full time or anything like that. But we have a couple of properties that we'd love to be able to call up a handyman to take care of small things that might come up now and then.

I'm looking for recommendations for a solid person to connect with. Thanks!

-Greg

Hey @Jeff Costa we had a wonderful inspector here in upstate NY. Message me if you're still in need. He was thorough and detailed in the way you want. He gave great explanations too.

@Gerald Pitts - I actually listened to that episode too! It was great. I need to check out the short term shop and read the book. Thanks!

@Kendra DeKay - We love Charleston too. Good thoughts with the hurricane and flooding. I feel like the same or similar considerations go in here as the Outer Banks for the same reasons! Good call.

@David Bergmann - that's a super in depth analysis there, thank you! Great thoughts and it's all about how much risk do we actually want to take on. At some point, the city is either going to constantly play catch up, or they can lean in to what is happening and embrace it (my opinion).

@Shane Siederman - good call Shane. thanks!

Hi @Gerald Pitts - I like that approach. Any ideas as to where some good locations would be to start looking at and getting a feel for, that fall into that category?

Thanks @Ralph Poirier - That is helpful. Sounds like it would be tough to find the right spot, but not impossible. Just will take running a lot more deals and being very diligent. Great info and ideas on locations too.
