I liked Romney’s commitment to cross the isle and work together with the Democrats. As someone who is usually in the middle with a slight lean to the right, this was a message that was important to me. Also, I believe Romney was better prepared and looked like he was up to the challenge; I was disappointed that Obama was not. It should be interesting to see the adjustments made by both sides before the next debate.

Thanks for the feed back guys. At this point I have the owners name but the mailing address is also the property address. I plan to approach a few neibors in the area to see if I can gain some insight on where the current owner may be. The house is an eye sore in the area and I'm hoping someone would be helpful in hopes that the property gets cleaned up.

I was told of a vacant property word of mouth that has rehab potential. On the door was a notice to call the banks REO department for info. I was told that the property is not being marketed by the bank and that I should watch the newspaper for an auction notice. I do know the property has been vacant for at least 3 years.

At this point, should I be trying to track down the current owner to make an offer? A simple google search was no help. Any idea's on how to track the current owner?

Thanks in advance!

The biggest problem I face as a new investor is the learning curve required to feel confident in what I'm doing. Obviously, I'm sure this will get better with experience.

I believe when you see investers speak about a team of professionals they are refering to lawers, agents, CPA, contractors, etc. Any professional you would rely on handle business that you would not feel comfortable doing yourself. Be sure these professionals are experienced and are looking out for your best interest. Hope this helps

Hi Shannon,

While I'll let the experts advise you on what to do from an investment standpoint as I'm new to investing myself. I would focus on getting consistant income coming in first that covers your living expenses. Should you be able to get into a deal and it not go as planned, you could quickly find yourself in bad position with no income to cover yourself.

As Nathan said, if your parents have experience and are willing to help you enen if only from and education standpoint and not $$, take full advantage of it.
