@Jordan Finkelman & @Mantas Kudrinas ,

A powerful tool to identify properties are the Miami-Dade and Broward County Zoning Websites.  For instance you can locate all 4 unit multi-family properties in Miami-Dade under zoning code RU-3.  You will be able to locate where in the county these units exist on or off market.  Knowledge is power!

@James Syed I would like to answer your questions, but they are a little bit vague.  Can you describe some of your specifications and I will be able to narrow down the areas for you.  How many units are you looking for?

@Bruce Shilander ,

Welcome to BP.  I am a Realtor/Investor and not an attorney, but I can tell you that Florida is a "Lien Theory State," owner holds titled.  It is possible in the state of Florida to assume an existing mortgage, but there are many variables to consider before doing so and is subject to approval by Seller, bank, etc.  This is an excerpt from the FAR/BAR (Florida Association of Realtors and Florida Bar) Rider;

D. ASSUMPTION OF EXISTING MORTGAGE(S)

Seller shall furnish a statement from each mortgagee stating the principal balance, method of payment, interest rate and status of mortgage or authorize Buyer or Closing Agent to obtain the same. If Buyer has agreed to assume a mortgage which requires approval of Buyer by the mortgagee for assumption, then Buyer shall promptly obtain the necessary application and diligently complete and return it to the mortgagee. Any mortgagee charge(s), not to exceed....

If Buyer is not accepted by mortgagee or the requirements for assumption are not in accordance with the terms of this Contract or mortgagee makes a charge in excess of the stated amount, Seller or Buyer may rescind this Contract by written notice to the other party unless either elects to pay the increase in interest rate or excess mortgage charges.

@Nat C.

Miami has many different jurisdictions that may have possibly have raided your property.  If you contacted City of Miami Police and they said that they did not raid your property, most likely it might have been a multi-juridicational task-force or federal agency.  MPD is a very large department and not even division knows what the other is doing.  I suggest two things 1) contacting City of Miami Police and speak with either a Sargent or Commander for Special Investigations and 2) contact MPD Records and request all reports related to your property. They will be able to assist you to find out who raided your property.  If you need further assistance PM me.
