Hi,

When purchasing a house at auction from an HOA foreclosure or a 2nd place loan foreclosure, what is the best way to find the payoff amount for the 1st place mortgage? Is there a database that houses this information? Previously, I've been looking at the deed and creating an amort schedule to estimate but trying to speed up this process.

Thanks in advance,

Grayson

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone have experience buying houses at Auction? I ran a case study and a lot of houses in my area are selling for 20-40% below market value. I was wondering what would happen if you buy a house at an auction where the Plaintiff is the Home Owners Association and not the bank. Do you still receive ownership of the house after you win the auction?

If someone has been in this scenario, I'd love to talk more, thanks!
