Hi Jaycee. Thank you for reaching out. I am looking at places up to 650k, currently. I will put 5% down on the place. I am willing to do light and medium rehab, the places Ive seen in Savannah that need a heavy rehab pretty much need everything done, which is out of my skill range at the moment. That being said, I would be willing to do heavy if I had a partner or someone to advise me.

Hi Everyone! Nice to meet you, and so glad to finally be a part of this community, online. I have been mass consuming this Bigger Pockets podcasts since November, 2024- so posting here may be a bit overdue.

My name is Grace Mott. I am looking to purchase my first property in Savannah, Georgia by June, 2025. I am specifically looking for a duplex that I can live in one side of and rent the other out. Ive worked at sea my entire career, so going from paying no living expenses to taking on a property and everything that comes along with home ownership is definitely intimidating, but I am really looking forward to it. As such, I do have a lot of handy skills and would not be opposed to a live in flip, whatsoever.

I would love to connect with other Savannah locals to potentially run properties by, and other experienced investors who may be able to guide me on whether the places I am interested in are good deals or not. I should add I do not currently live in Savanah, I live where ever my vessel is docked. But will be based out of Charleston for the spring.
