Sold on contract for deed n 2021 with balance due 2023-turns out he cannot refi due to tax implications and I have option to take back property. No one seems to know if I would or would not be liable for capital gains.  Does anyone know?    surely I can’t be the only one this has happened to….

Have u seen Hipcamp? They charge for people camping on private property….maybe like Airbnb for campers…
