Hey BP,

Im looking for a real estate attorney in the South Florida, Broward county area. Looking to draft some JV Partnership agreements with some business partners. I work with other investors for both fix n flip properties and some BRRR properties as well. I've been mainly getting by for now using rocketlawyer but the deals are becoming alittle more complex and I want to make sure Im legally doing things correctly. Thanks.

@Marcus C. Mills We aren't just looking at Broward but also Miami-Dade. I grew in Miami so I'm more familiar with the Zones there but I'm definitely open to deals with equity in Broward as well. We should definitely link up!

Hi BPers,

My wife and I are looking to invest in some multi-family real estate in the South Florida area (keeping it local so that we can self manage for now). We're just selling one of our single family investment properties and have some capital. Mainly looking to connect with some Agents or brokers who can help bring deals that fit our criteria. We're looking for value-add deals that come with some equity. We live in the Miami-Broward area and looking for deals in said area (particularly focused on Opportunity Zones). If anyone here knows someone we could get in touch with I'd love a soft introduction. I'd also love to get in touch with other investors in the area also, I have a pretty solid team of contractors I work with and we can get work done fast on any value add projects. The main strategy is to hold these properties and bring on other investors to expand the scope of the buying area.

Thanks,

Greg

@Patrick Hermans He and a partner have their money in on the purchase of the property. I am coming in with funds for the renovation side of the project. He's already started the reno and hit a roadblock with one of his investors with regards to funding it.

Hey BPers,

I'm  being presented an opportunity to invest in a flip project (purely as an investor). This is the first time Im considering going into a deal just purely as a monetary backer. What are some things I should look for/ask or be mindful of? The person coming to me with the deal is a friend and he's the contractor doing the work on the Fixer, so there is a level of trust there, but since its the first time we're doing this type of deal together I want to know how to approach it.

Whats being requested is 15k commitment (may be less) with a 35% return of investment when the property is sold. We're going to look at the property tomorrow. Any help from those who've invested in flips in the past would be helpful.

Thank you!
