Great question - it is very difficult to find a real estate focused CPA firm that is accepting new clients thus you might want to expand your geographic scope. I am in TN but we have clients all over the country.

Thanks, @Chris Picciurro!

Feel free to message me for CPA referrals in San Diego if you would like.  There are also several talented CPAs on these forums who may be familiar with CA laws as well.

Echo what Katie is saying.  Several talented CPAs on the forums.  Reach out to a few Ave see if you click with any that have availability.

Thanks for this tip, @Bryan Martin!

Thank you @Katie Balatbat! I messaged you.

Hi, Can anyone recommend a good REI-focused CPA in San Diego? I'm looking for someone for the long haul to help with tax preparation (I've been using TurboTax) as well as ongoing advice on decisions related to buying, selling, exchanging, and converting (e.g., STR to a LTR) real estate, both in and out of state (TN specifically). Thanks!
