Thanks Luke, I'm leading towards continuing doing the same with weekly direct deposits into my banking account. The only problem with direct deposits is.. if I had to take them to court for non payment of rent, they can deposit as little as $1 and say that they've paid something. I need a quick way to stop them from paying.

I have a couple who are looking into renting one of my apartments as roommates. I've rented to roommates in the past. The only thing that I don't like is when or if they decide that they do not want to live together anymore but each one wants to stay and find another roommate. Has anyone had this happen? What have you done in the situation? What can be written on the lease ahead of time? Thanks

Hello, I am new to Bigger Pockets but I've been a landlord in CT for over 25 years.

Over the last 2 years I have required (on my lease) that my tenants pay via direct deposit into my bank account. I have never had a late payment since. I would like to continue having my tenants pay weekly but do not want them to have my bank info. I also want an easy way to stop accepting payments from them. I wanted to start using Cozy.co but they are set up for monthly payments. Is there another way to set up weekly payments of tenants?

Thanks in advance
