Hey everybody!

I'm starting my career as a real estate agent and investor and all I need now is a good CPA (that one that loves teaching, answer questions, and explains the numbers) in the Fort Lauderdale Area, FL.

Can anyone recommend someone with that characteristics?

Also, every tip on how to spot a good and caring CPA will be highly appreciated!

Thank you very much, lovely community!

Hey @Kevin K, that's awesome! I would love to meet with you and hear your advice.

Maybe I can pass by to take you for a coffee or let me know what works best for you!

That's would be awesome!

Thanks all of you for the great feedback!

@Eudith Vacio I'm applying for the RE agent for the knowledge, expertise, and network. I'll give my best to become a successful agent but my prior goal is to become an investor, I'll keep driving fr Lyft for the income and flexibility.

Great advice,@Dalyn Hazell, I totally agree with you and that's my plan A! Much appreciated.

@Evan Polaski, totally understand your point and once I feel that my experience/knowledge in RE is stronger I pretend to become a full-time investor!

@Rob Shah, I'm glad that you see and walk in the same way as me. I wish you the best on this journey. Quoting Nelson Mandela:" I don't lose, or I win or I learn!"

Hi, My name is Gilberto and after listening to podcasts and reading all about REI, I've decided to pursue this pathway.

I live in the Fort Lauderdale area, FL and I'm still in the "saving money" stage.

Since I lost my job for covid, I've been driving for Lyft but I'm just thinking in apply for a real state license and get a job to fast forward this process as a beginner real state agent so I can learn the perks and (hopefully) save more to buy my first property.

Any advice from you guys? Is this a good idea or there's something that I'm missing out on?
