I will try to attend the event . I enjoy listening to real estate professionals and other members from Bigger pockets.

Perhaps the owners of the property have not gone to court and started the eviction process . That property sounds like a nightmare and if i was there i would contact the local consumer reporter  and have this situation put on TV and then the mortgage owner would have to act on it.

If you can also get in touch with neighbors they can notify you or the authorities if there is any illegal activity going on at the property after you get them out ( And Georgia doesn't play games with squatters). Do not give anyone the security code information after you have the system put in. Sometimes squatters have been known to pay for the codes right from the installer!!  Ask Neighbors to call the cops too.
