I am looking to buy a primary residence in Maryland and I am currently shopping for mortgage brokers. Looking for someone who can do a soft pull to pre-qualify. Areas in Maryland are Prince Georges, Montgomery, Howard, and Anne Arundel counties.

@Anthony Marin Great advice. I will definitely consider managing the property myself. And like you said maybe do if for a couple months just to get a feel for what its like. I am definitely going to DM you and pick your brain. Thanks.

Great advice @Ray Reed. I definitely might consider it. You made some great points.

Thanks @Peter T. great advice I forgot about NARPM.

Thanks @Natalie Schanne and @Ray Reed! That is the decision I've been struggling with the most, whether or not to manage the property myself. I will be occupying one of the units so I will be living in the property. I'm just thinking although this is my first property I want to buy more properties in the immediate future, so I figure I'm going to need a good property manager anyway. I don't know still torn. Thanks for you advice.

Hey Guys,

This is my first post. I am closing on my first multifamily on Friday and looking for a property manager. The property is located in Newark, New Jersey and has 3 units that need to be managed. I would also like to know rates if possible. Any feedback or info is greatly appreciated. Super pumped to be starting my real estate journey.

Thanks,

Gerard
