@Sam Shueh Thanks for the input. I'm gonna head out there tomorrow after work and see what joys I discover.

@Marc Winter My property manager is just a resident who keeps an eye on things and lets me know of problems. Not so much a manager as a baby sitter. I still handle most things. The ceiling is above grade. The main water and sewage lines are in the center of the building but there are sinks off to the side where the dripping is.

@Mike M. Thanks for the reply I'll give one a shot.

Was looking for advise on who to call on a leak that is appearing on a basement ceiling along the wall. The building is a two story brick multi-unit. I am not at the building and the manager is unable to tell if it's a pipe, tuck pointing or other cause. Sounds like a small but constant drip. It has been raining but no one has noticed when it started. Who would best be able to figure out the origin of the problem? Know this may be a ridiculous question but want to get it resolved quickly without calling out a million people. Thanks in advance.

I own a very similar building in the area of irving and kimball. Just FYI my rents are closer to 1000/mo and I feel that even at 1100 those units may take a while to rent. Water comes to about 360 every 2/mo and don't count on those taxes. Mine are closer to 8000 and that was fighting tooth and nail. They will look at purchase price on a recently purchased property when the county reassesses tax. Both the city and county are hard up for money. I'm not a professional property manager or anything, so you may be able to do better. Just trying to help.
