Hi there my partner and I have a duplex under contract here in Baytown , Tx. Unfortunately we have to structure the loan a little different where we need a co-signer in order to close. We’re seeking someone with decent income/low debt we will be offering a percentage in return.

I have one property that I’m currently living in and will rent out the beginning of next year. What can I do between now and next year to obtain more rental properties as fast as possible. What’s the best way to raise capital ?

Anyone located in Houston that would like to discuss real estate. I just bought a house I’m currently living in it and will rent it out the beginning of next year. Just want to meet others who want to be successful real estate investors.

Ill be closing on my first rental on Jan 28th. Ill be living there for a year then refinancing my va loan into a conventional to then rent it out. I hear investors only wanting to purchase a 1 property a year but then magically purchase 3 or more in that same year how do they do this ? How do they raise so much money to then purchase multiple properties ? Id like to expand my portfolio as fast as possible but how do investors do this ?

I currently living in Houston, Texas. I left the military about 9 months ago and have been slowly establishing a life out here. Im hoping to close on my first deal in January if all goes well with sellers accepting my offer. Are there any real estate investments groups or even just people here in houston that would love to discuss real estate?

Evening everyone when it comes to home insurance what should i be mainly concerned with ? Should i simply go with a company who offers insurance with a lower cost just because its cheaper. Or a company who maybe offers more security yet will be more costly. Im trying minimize my expenses as much as i can should insurance be one of them ? For context im purchasing a primary residence as a future rental in the south houston area which flooding can be an issue.

I should’ve mentioned expenses as in monthly.

Aside from your mortgage payment is taxes and homeowners insurance typically going to be your biggest expense? Ive been looking at my counties tax assessors website trying to find properties annual taxes and its been difficult. Ill find numbers there and compare them to other platforms and the difference is immense I just dont which platform or numbers to rely on to plug in so i can get my most accurate reading. For Homeowners insurance should i just shop around for a quote and see who offers me the lowest payment and simply go with them ? What important questions should i ask as an inspiring investor ?

Hi everybody sorry for the novice question. I’ve been calculating the monthly mortgage payment on a property. The payment would be about 740 dollars. Once you have the payment number how you can you estimate the actual income from the property ? Landlords would be asking for rent more than $740 to bring in cash flow. Again I know it’s such a simple but I’m having a hard time understanding.
