Hey all, so I'm renting out my apartment by rooms, so I would be receiving multiple rental checks each month.  Does anybody know of a service that can do auto payment when rented out by rooms?

I'm using apartments.com (as a former Cozy user) for my other units that I'm renting the traditional way (for the entire house).

Now I'm wondering if there's similar service for room rentals?  I dont believe apartments.com allow multiple leases on the same unit.

Thanks!

so i’m looking to invest in syndication, and one thing i’m concerned about is taxes.

i want to be in a passive deal, so syndication seem to check the box.  but i also want to make sure tax reporting will be simple.

is taxes for syndications as simple as importing the year end K-1 form into turbotax and thats pretty much it?  i know i’m over simplifying, but at a high level i just want some feedback on tax reporting for syndications from you experts.  thanks in advance

Just looking to see if there's any interest in this investment property before taking it to the MLS, this unit is currently off market, but planning on listing in the next couple months.

I've owned this condo unit since 2008. Here's the summary of this place:

  • 1 Bedroom
  • 1 Bathroom
  • second floor unit
  • 2 parking spots in parking garage (downstairs)
  • elevator building, gated building
  • 2 miles from UCSD campus
  • UCSD free shuttle stop right outside the building
  • Currently tenant occupied, renting for $1500 (can raise to $1650 according to Zillow's "Rent Zestimate")
  • HOA $294/mo, tax was $2600/yr in 2015
  • highly sought after community in La Jolla
  • walking distance to multiple shopping centers
  • you can find photos here...

Depending on the terms of the note and the amount of the down, everything is negotiable.  I'm open to offers and we and go from there.  Thanks!
