Hey Allison,

I'm recently starting my first wholesaling campaign.  Don't have to much actual field experience.  But I have made myself pretty familiar with the industry over the last couple of years.  I have been thinking about partnering up with somone too.  Let me know if you would like to meet up some time and talk.

Hey @Daphne V.

Welcome to BP!  I also live in Austin let me know if there's anything I can do to help!

Hi Sonny,

If you still need a contractor, my dad has his own company.  I know he does a lot of tile work.  Let me know if you still need help and I can get you in contact with him.

Hey,  I recently started wholesaling in the Austin area.  I've been living here pretty much my whole life, so I'm familiar with the area.  Hopefully by November I have some deals under my belt.  But I'm willing to meet with you when you come down. If you want to start doing some deals in the Austin area, or just discuss the market. Just let me know.

Hey @Jeff Hurley welcome to bigger pockets! Being a GC is a great competitive advantage. My father is a GC also, so I feel that's the only advantage we have as well. But all I have been doing over the last year is listening to as many podcast as I can. You'll be surprised how much you will learn by just listening to those. You will be able to listen to people talk about all the different niches in real estate as well. Which should help guide you, or at least give you a clearer picture. About what niche you might want to focus on.

Hey Sonny,

Sorry to hear about your problem.  My father owns a construction company, here in Austin.  I'm sure he would be more than happy to help you.  Feel free to message me and I can get you in contact with him.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes and advice.  It feels good to start becoming part of such a supportive community.  Hopefully I can become even half as successful as you guys. @Grant Greene that's great advice thanks, I feel that being young I sometimes do become overly ambitious.  So I will have to make sure I stick to my plan and not try to get ahead of myself. And so you suggest speaking to like a financial advisor?

@Michael Le thanks for the quick reply as well. Networking is what I hope to take away the most from bigger pockets (and the education of course) and @Guy Gimenez that would be amazing, thanks for the invite I'll be contacting you shortly!
