Historical district home that needs 30k In work.

In Cleveland, oh. On the west side

Is this worth the money? Or is it a bad investment

I am looking at a four unit investment property that is selling for 195,000 the gross rent income is 30,000 a year I am 23 years old and have the ability to put 20% down should I make this move and if so is that a good price or what should I offer

@Elliott Elkhoury

Could it be because they weren’t in Colorado , and they have to actually be at the bank to transfer the large amount? Of around 155k?

I heard he might of had to be there for them to approve that transfer.

What do you think?

@George Davis meant to say buyer cannot

Just sold my home from Ohio to someone in Colorado. On closing day they found out they can’t wire money from there account to Ohio due to the amount.

They had to put the check in an Ohio bank to then transfer it to the title company. It is going to take 7 more days to receive the money.

Does this seem sketchy/shady?

Is this normal?

It makes me feel some type of way.. looking for wisdom on this topic

@Shane Moynihan

Honestly it’s just cause I seen the market got and seen a way to make a quick 30k. I’m thinking I should stop the deal and hold it. Hbu?

@Joaquin Camarasa

I will be moving in with a family member until I can find another good property. The property I have being sold is in a great area, great property, and it’s a duplex so it could be a long term hold instead of a short term gain.

At 23, I bought my home about 8-10 months ago.m for 112k.... I put it on the market a week ago for 160k and just received and accepted a cash offer for 155k... is or was this a good move or should I have kept my property?
