I'm curious about this too. I've seen several ads and emails from different ones, but would like to hear opinions from those with boots on the ground.

Hi all! I signed up for the site sometime back, but never really used it. Now it is time to make some changes.

I am a full time employee and part time investor. I have acquired a few rental properties over the last couple of years, but have recently decided to step up the game a bit and begin flipping to transition out of the "employed" sector.

For some reason I feel so new and scared again, like Real Estate is all foreign and I don't know how to do anything. :) Anyway, I am just looking to reach out here and make some connections, etc. I am a Lifestyles Unlimited member and love their teachings for rental purchasing, but they don't offer much (at least at my membership level) for flips.

Any advice and/or recommendations is welcome, as I'm sure I will soon be reevaluating all of my professional relationships (cpa, atty., contractors, buyers, sellers, Realtors, etc.).

Or just say hi... :)

Thanks,

Geode

I recently closed on a property through GoHoming. The process was a bit stressful. They are slow and disorganized. We had to push them to close on their closing date and then the title company missed a lein. Small and inconsequential, but still. (The local law office/title company is a real piece of work.) Then they placed the blame on me for rushing them. We ended up closing in about 5-6 weeks and then I put about another 5 weeks of rehab into the property and got it leased. Minimal equity, but $400+ monthly cash flow. Yes, it was a pain, but for that kind of return, I would consider doing it again.
