It is in my newer leases, but not the one I am working with now. Michigan law seems to be silent on this.
Myb tenant insists that she can pay March  rent on time and avoid a march late fee while she still owes February rent.


Do you apply a rent payment to past due rent before applying it to cyrrent rent?

I made a mistake on KGKB last year (2020). It was obviously a mistake. I emailed, and they sent me a credit. I spoke with a real person on the phone when I misunderstood how to use the credit. No problems.
