Post: Duplex Builder around Tampa Bay

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for some advice about good duplex home builders around the tampa bay area.

I have been on the google machine and have not been able to come up with many home builders that build duplex, triplex, quadplex.

Can anyone offer some advice about which ones I should be looking at?

Does anyone know approximately how much it would cost to build a triplex with 1 bed 1 bath units?

Thanks for your help

Gary

Hi Everyone,

I am currently in need of a Foreign National friendly bank/lender (not HML) to help fund a buy and hold deal I am working on in Texas. The deal is less than $1,000,000 purchase price.

I have tried the local banks across Texas and have had no luck as I live in Australia.

I have an ITIN number and have an LLC established already in Florida if that helps.

If anyone knows of a Foreign National Friendly lender that may be able to help me out I would be much appreciated?

Thanks Gary

@David T.

The only other security that I could offer is 4 Blocks of land in Florida that we own free and clear.

Would that improve the situation to a HML or not?

Hi,

A bit about me:

I am Australian and I live in Australia. I am looking to invest in Multifamily deals across the US. I currently have some property in Florida.

I have found myself a deal in Texas that I am very keen to move on.

The problem that I am facing is that I have only been able to raise around 20% of the down payment and am in need of finding someone else to help fund the deal. (I have a lender who is prepared to fund the deal at 75% LTV)

I have tapped out all my family and friend connections here in Australia and in the US and the deal isnt really big enough to syndicate properly with a PPM and SEC attorney fees.

I have been looking at HML to see if they would lend to me to help out with a one to two year term at a fixed interest rate secured by a second place lien on the deal.

Is this service even possible?

Does anyone know if there are hard money lenders out there that provide this sort of service?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hello,

My Name is Gary Charlton. I am with AGT International Investments Corp. We are an Investment Company based in Australia.

We are looking at purchasing multifamily homes and student housing apartments across the US.

I am still very new to investing in the US and still building my network in US. I heard about bigger pockets and how helpful and useful it has been for new investors so I took their advice and joined up.

We have several investments currently in Florida and are on the look for deals in Florida and Texas for now with hopes of expanding to other markets by the end of the year.

I welcome any tips and information that the community could offer a new investor in the US. eg. Areas to invest, Market's to avoid and People to network with.

Thanks for letting me join the community

Gary
