Thank you for the helpful feedback. What kind of interest rate? The down payment and interest were for an FHA loan any ball park idea I've never made an investment nor had a mortgage. These are just general numbers I've heard in my area. I don't know if buying a foreclosure is different than a traditional purchase.

I'm looking to get into duplex or tri plex that i can live in one unit  and rent the rest. i'm admittedly still quite green at this but i am learning a lot of good lessons watching webinars and reading books.

My name is Gary and I am from Lakeland FL. I have been reading and listening to many books about realestate and rental property management. And now I'm looking to make my first investment with in 6 months. I look forward to talking with some of you and learning from any wisdom shared.

as you can tell this is my first time doing this and my numbers were best guess. But as far as the interest rate on the loan would be approximately what on a loan like this? I'm not gonna live there so I wouldn't have an FHA loan
