I'm an agent in Utah working with a client, and if i remember right there is a way for my client to do the 1031 exchange and put it in a trust or like entity to make it so even after there passing and the children inherit the properties they don't have the capital gains. Maybe I miss heard, but if anyone has more info on this I would be very grateful.

@Will Fraser lots of places in Utah, especially Logan Utah. Lots of diverse outdoor activities. Yes there’s a culture that’s prominent here. But as a non member. It’s not that bad. I’m an agent and can speak to more about the entire state if your interested.

I would agree and would add that you can likely go to Lowe’s or Home Depot. I prefer Home Depot and get a solid pine door that is just large then your opening. I believe you have up to 3 or so inches. All the way around you can cut away.

@Matthew Reid

Ask the utility company to put a 10 day notice of disconnection. And then CONSULT a attorney in your state about what’s legal. Don’t make it worse and get sued. When the notice goes on there door that there utilities are going to get shut off they’ll usually set it up then.

@Dennis Soto I would say Yes. I just finished up getting mine, here in Utah. I now feel that a $5-700 education no matter if you use it for the traditional sense or just the knowledge is very beneficial. You do probably need to get a broker. But it’s not hard to find a broker to sign on with that will give you the freedom you desire. Good luck!

@Gary Parker it’s more then embarrassing how long it took to respond to your message. I would also like to connect with investors in the area. I will reach out to you after the holiday weekend.

My family and I have moved back to Cache County Utah and are needing a bank to put our money. But want to find a more investor friendly bank or credit union. So I’m looking for questions to ask a banker to see if they’ll be a better fit for my investing goals.

I’m not sure about the font you chose, but good to see who’s got the hustle. Cheers
