Thank you everyone for your responses. My goal would be to decrease liability as these will be a huge part of my retirement while not increasing taxes or making them much more difficult...so just sole prop and umbrella? I’d like to just stay that way but always a little nervous about liability. Thanks again, Garrett

I currently own 4 duplexes and 1 sfh as a sole proprietor. I’m wondering what the tax implications are if any for adding all under an sCorp. Is it worth it? Thank you, Garrett

Bought a duplex in Cincinnati end of 2015. Paid 52k rents for $1455/month. It’s been my most profitable property.

Just out of curiosity - what city are you talking about?

It's a shame.. she is local, and her family is well known to be successful in real estate. With as much money as they have made in REI, I don't understand why the hard sell. I watched the hour long webinar also.. ZERO useful information.

Hey Rich.. I don't have a ton of experience there, but I did buy a duplex there last fall.  Are you planning on trying to invest in the area?

Was looking for some info about Cincy and found this about Price Hill.  I am in DFW and bought a duplex in West Price Hill (on Suire Ave) last October.  I am managing myself because I haven't found any good PMs in the area.  So far things have been good.  Definitely seems like there are good and not so good pockets in the area.  I'd like to have some contacts in the area.  Garrett
