Hi guys. I did not see anymore follow up on this issue but do you know if the squatter law also apply in Bronx , NY. i am a newbie looking at a property and is also occupied. the current owner who purchase the property early this year find out that there are indeed occupants and dont want to deal with the eviction process since she is out of town. She then want to sell it "as is" (meaning with the squatters). She dont even know who they are and what is the current status of the property. I assume it is livable since someone live in it right?

I a m planning to

1. find the deal 2. look for financing 3. LLC 4. Exit 5. Website

any recommendation is appreciated

Thank you Paul. I have started to read the forums and different articles. Since I have created my account yesterday, I have read the Ultimate Beginners Guide to Real Estate Investing watch videos here on BP on top of the Flipping Housed for Dummies by Ralph Roberts. I have yet to fine REIA club in my area.
