I know the spirit of bigger pockets is finding ways to make these deals happen, because they’re out there and they exist. I’m 21 and filling out paperwork to prequalify for a loan and it’s obvious I won’t be approved because I’m a full time student and don’t make enough to qualify. My income is consistent however and I am fully invested to make a good deal happen, how else can I go about arranging financing? Private money, how to qualify for the bank, etc ?

I'm trying to be more open about my goals with real estate. I was having a conversation with someone in my group at school and I found out he is a realtor! He listens to the BP podcast and his goals with investing are in the same field as mine. I had known him all semester and I found this out last week, so I'm excited to talk more with him about real estate. We have a better relationship than just meeting because we have done group work all semester together, and I value that because it makes me feel more comfortable just asking questions and having a conversion.  I value the personal relationship because it makes the process feel more natural. Still, be open and honest with your network and they will form over time through conversations and interactions. Good luck on building relationships with your network!
