@Vincent Riboni

It's to live in, but just like my last one, I'm not super picky and I want a below retail deal on a house that needs work. What I am picky on is location and lot size. If there were such a thing as a big lot in the North East, that would be great, but there's not so it's down to the Valley. Which is fine, because I like all the horses, trees and adobes and I don't mind the trailers and run down neighborhoods.

If it's just what I want, I'll hang on to it forever. If it's just ok, I'll live in, rehab, and sell in a bit.

Hi! I've been lurking a few months, and now I'm getting my ducks in a row to buy a house cash, in the North, preferably in the Valley. I had really good luck with Craigslist for wholesale houses in LA, but it doesn't seem to work that way here. Any advice as to where to look for good deals in ABQ? Advice on finding a good contractor to look at the house with me and estimate/do the repairs?

I'd love to have coffee or chat with anyone who has some insight. I'm new to the area and eager to network.
