I don't believe Sweetwater is open on Sundays. I will not be able to attend this date as I am going out of town for my anniversary. I really would like to see this happen though. I know that it is hard to bring busy people together.

For those of you interested in our Cashflow games....
Hi friends!
This month's Cashflow game will be Saturday, January 9, 2016.
Happy New Year to you and your family!
Who's ready to make 2016 their best year yet?
Are you interested in investing in real estate but are unsure of the ins and outs? Are you sitting on a significant amount of cash and are frustrated with the current stock market? Are you a seasoned investor and would love to share your experiences and insights with fellow investors and people who are just starting out?The Cashflow game, along with the help of other investors, can help you learn strategies that will bring you a better return on your hard earned money. I hope you'll find the time to make it out for a few hours of fun and networking. Bring a friend, it's FREE and everyone is welcome! If you are a current investor, bring your deals to discuss with the group.
It's time for another exciting Cashflow 101 game on Saturday, January 9th at 12 o'clock noon. We will meet at Sweetwater in the cafe. Sweetwater features a coffee kiosk and full diner, so if you want lunch, this is a great place to eat.
The Cashflow game doubles as a networking and discussion opportunity for everyone involved. I highly encourage anyone who has an interest in investing to come out and enjoy a great night with a friendly and engaging group of individuals. I personally feel that everyone, from newbies to experienced investors, can gain insight by playing the game.
The Cashflow 101 board game is one of the best ways to simulate your investing career without risking your hard earned money. Playing with other investors is a great way to learn different investing strategies and bounce ideas off of fellow players. We use the game nights as a chance to network and make new friends in the investing world.
A little info about the game:
Robert Kiyosaki, author of “Rich Dad, Poor Dad,” stresses the value of games, particularlyMonopoly, as tools for learning basic financial strategies such as “trade four green houses for one red hotel.” Kiyosaki has created several games to reinforce the information in his books.
“Cashflow 101″ is a board game designed by Kiyosaki, which aims to teach the players concepts of investing and making money.
There are two stages to the game. In the first, “the rat race”, the player aims to raise his or her character’s passive level to where it exceeds the character’s expenses through a variety of investment options. The winner is determined in the second stage, “the fast track.” To win, a player must get his character to buy his “dream” or accumulate $50,000 in monthly cash flow.
The game forces the players to do the accounts by themselves. In place of “score cards”, there are financial statements. (There is now an app available as a companion to the game. Cashflow Calculator in the app store for iPhone and Android) Therefore, players can see more clearly what is happening with their money. It generally shows how assets generate incomes and liabilities and ‘doodads’ affect expenses.
Basic strategies involved in this game are: buying and selling stocks, cashflow, appreciation, and leverage.
This is a public event. Anyone is welcome. We are not selling or pitching anything. We simply want to bring investors together to share ideas in a fun environment. Hope to see you there!
Date and Time:
Saturday - January 9th - 12pm
***If you have a Cashflow Board Game, please bring it. We can always use extra boards and tokens.

I agree, that's where the frustration lies. Maybe I'm just too anxious, but I feel like it's taking way too long to get going.

So I've been doing my research, getting my education, and analyzing deals for about a year now. When I started on this journey I had zero money in the bank. I soon realized, after making a couple of offers, that I needed to start saving and get my bank account built up a bit. I've managed to save $5,000 and now I'm stuck. I feel like $5,000 is not enough but it took me a year to get to that mark. I'm ready mentally, been ready for awhile, to start acquiring property, but I feel like I'm in limbo due to the money factor. My credit is not good enough to get a typical mortgage as I already have one FHA loan. I don't really want to buy a "PIG" just to end up depleting my savings by rehabbing it.
What would be the best way to utilize my $5,000?

I'm in! Been looking to do this myself for quite some time. I currently host Cashflow games and I am more than willing to attend other meet ups.
