@Emma Duncan I agree. These things weren’t taken care of before the tenants moved in? That’s what you do during a tenant turnaround. From what’s stated and without more info, this all smells like legit.

@Amanda Thompson. I don’t know your state laws, but you could probably reject her application outright since it’s incomplete. Kinda like turning in final class exam and not answering half the questions… fail.

@David Eyal. You don’t need to offer grounds. Leases can be mutually agreed to be terminated.

@Elissa Hedlund. Trust me when I tell you that you didn’t want that person as a tenant. Treat it as divine intervention and move on. Return the money in a reasonable time period.... no more than a week.
