I am in the process of signing a wholesale deal for a single family house owned by three siblings that live in three different states (Washington, Oregon, and California). None of them are tech saving so docusign, scanning, and emailing are not really an option. Here is my specific question - if I have the primary owner (sibling taking responsibility for selling) sign the PSA with et al will that be a valid/binding contact for all owners? Will a title company accept the contact and track down the owners for signature for closing? I appreciate your help!!

Can anyone recommend a good real estate attorney in Portland Oregon? I would like a firm that can handle contract review and provide guidance on tenant issues.

Thanks!

It is hard to figure out exactly what functionality is affected by this change. I think it's safe to say that the calling and texting features on non-Google iPhone apps and hardware will stop working after the 5/15. From my research and testing it seems like you will still be able to receive calls if you have configured GV to forward calls to your phone. You will need to use the Google Hangout app on your phone to place calls using your google voice number. I think I can still make it work for my business needs however, it does make me question how much I want to rely on a free voice service that is subject to change with limited notice.

I apologize. Broken down.... Google is dropping the "Google Voice" product and merging the technology into Google Hangouts. The underlying technology will still exist, but the product as we know it is going away. My understanding is that you will no longer be able to use Phone apps or third party hardware devices such as Obi Talk to access the Google voice platform. Instead, you will need to use the free Google Hangout Phone app to access voice features. The problem is that this app does not provide the level of functionality that we are currently used to.

What are people doing in response to google voice dropping support of the XMPP protocol and iPhone apps on May 15th? Does anyone have a recommendation for another VOIP product?
