 Well that's encouraging. I had hoped to build a portfolio closer to home for easier management but have no qualms about driving all around the DMV to make this dream happen.

Hi, community!! This is Mike from Maryland. I've been a software developer for all of my working career and its great. Even though I enjoy what I do, the allure of doing it with less monetary pressure but still enjoying the same lifestyle sounds enticing. I want to get into rental properties to start generating passive income that will eventually meet me and my wife's current salaries so that we can retire early!
