@Bonnie Low This was very helpful and i do appreciate the feedback. I figured the hospitals might prefer to work with bigger housing companies that have multiple units but i thought i would just reach out and give it a try. I will ask if i can leave flyers like you suggested and see how that turns out. Thank you again!

@Holly Brown Thank you for sharing your calendar and for all of the helpful information. I just updated one of my units to a 30 day minimum, hopefully that pushes my listing to the top. I appreciate it!

Hi Holly,

Thank you for your response. Yes this was very helpful and greatly appreciated. They are both 2 bedroom 1bath unit. I use pricelabs for pricing but also adjust it almost daily. My min price for a unit is $90 and my min stay is 2night. I was under the impression that short term does better than long term on Airbnb that’s why I never tried it. But thank you for your suggestion.

I would love to connect and send you my listing so you can take a look.

Hi,

I started my Rental Arbitrage journey last year in Austin Texas and i currently have two units that are 8mins from a major hospital (St David's Medical center). I am trying to break into the mid term rental space as the units have been struggling the last couple of months with short term rental. I primary use Airbnb. I tried furnished finder for a while but didn't have much luck with it. So i contacted the hospital and introduced myself saying what i had to offer which is a housing solution to their travel nurses and asking to be directed to the right person a housing travel coordinator or somebody. Every time i call, they keep transferring me to different departments until someone hangs the phone on me.

Does anyone have any recommendation or advise on the best way to approach hospitals and Insurance companies or the best places to find mid term rental tenants.

Thank you!
