@John Clark I'm mostly interested in the North Side so I can stay a bit closer to family and friends near there, but if I can find properties in good neighborhoods around other areas I'm open to it

I am looking to move into the city of Chicago and house hack a 2 - 4 unit, what north side neighborhoods are your favorites?

@Martin Neal Welcome to BP! How's Evanston? How come you chose Brainerd to invest in?

I am looking to acquire a small multi-family property between 2 - 4 units that I can live in and rent out the other units.

Hello everyone! Frank Serrano here, a Software Developer looking to park his extra income in rental properties. I have lived in and around Chicago all my life and am looking to pick up some properties in the nearby suburbs. You can usually find me at the Chicago Area Real Estate Investors Association meetings.
