It is not a reappraisal, it is a massive legal rip-off!

I received the paper for the discussion one day before the process ending  in October got over. I complained, but they told me that I didn't miss much as it was mainly just a bla-bla dedicated to house owners.

The real thing is the BOR complaint, and I suggest everyone does it. I usually do it each year.

Who has an appraiser to suggest ?

What can we do ? Class action ? Put it in the Dispatch ?

Hello!

Does anyone has a suggestion for a fire damage restoration company in Indianapolis for a SFH ? A general contractor would also do fine. I recently had a rental property burned down and am looking for a company to do a rehab/rebuild. I appreciate any recommendations. Thank you :-)

Thank you @Tchaka Owen for taking the time to answer.
I ll ask the broker to find homes that aren't D (or at least work at it at best). This is why I anticipate it will be hard to find the broker.
I wish you a great weekend.

@Francis R. - finding a broker isn't the difficult part, finding $30k homes in areas that aren't D will be your challenge. You will then proceed to have massive headaches. Naptown has much better prices than many other large cities, however that doesn't mean you get the Taj Mahal for a stack. Until you can double your budget, you're better off staying in Columbus or nearby - at least you'll know the neighborhoods there.

Hi Bppers!

I am looking for a broker in Indianapolis. I am new to this city.

I am planning to buy forclosed homes in the $30k$ range or less, and rehab. I am buying now.

The broker would also need to be familiar with out of state investor. I really need a broker who understands the market, the trends, the locations, and not afraid to bid to multiple homes (not all of them will go through). A lot of work is to be done (those who just want to put their name on a sale contract will be disappointed).

Any suggestions ?

Keep safe!

Francis

Hello  BPers!

I found my first CPA here on BP. She is really nice, however, she feels she is not qualified enough to deal with foreign investors.

I currently have homes in Columbus, OH and I am happy with the investments. Yes, everything is managed remotely. I am French and Italian, and now in Italy, Rome....

If you have a CPA that you think has experience or is willing to work with foreigners, I would greatly appreciate.

Wishing you all a great Xmas time,

Francis
