Hello all, Thank you all for your responses! I really appreciate the feedback.

@Thomas Wheeler -How far away are you from Kansas City?

@John Daniel -How's your schedule looking like next week? I'm planning on taking a trip next weekend to Kansas City if you want to meet and talk RE.

@Rico Nasol - I see you are investing from out of state, I am planning to do the same. How did you know what agent/Contractors to use?

@Mike D'Arrigo - I'm in the beginner stage, I have given a lot of thought to what market I want to invest in and I have decided to start in Kansas City. I have planned my goals for 2021 and know what I am looking for. The part I kept getting stuck on was, waiting for the right time to get started but I came to realized that it will never be the right time. So I have to start taking action.

@Michael Sontheimer - Congratulations on your investments. Is your 5 SFH in Kansas City or St. Joseph?

@Jay Helms - You are absolutely right! At the beginning of last year, I tried a mastermind group but the COVID came around and it stopped. I haven't been able to get back to it. I have been able to meet with other investors in my area, and it really motivates me to get started.

If anyone has any tips on how to find an investor-friendly realtor in Kansas City, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you all for the support and help.

Hello, I have been researching and studying real estate investing for about a year now. I have gotten analysis paralysis, so I am trying to get out of it and start doing it. I wanted to connect with other investors, talk to them, see if they have any recommended agents or lenders.

I would really appreciate any help I can get.

Thank you All.

@Gurshan Bansal... I am just starting my journey in REI and hearing about your journey on how you got started is such motivation to me. You didn't let COVID stop you from Rehabbing, renting it out, or refinancing. Great Job!! What did this property appraise for? were you able to get a market rent of $900? Did you stay on budget or did you go over?

Sorry for all the questions just curious about how it all turned out. I just bought my primary residence here in Clarksville, TN during COVID too back in April. I am still very new to all this, but I'm reading all the forum posts and books I can. Hopefully, I can get my agent/realtor's license by the end of the year. If you don't mind I would love the opportunity to connect and hear more about your investment strategy and how your journey has been.

@Aidan Mulligan

Hey Aidan

For this property, I was looking to house hack.

So I would get an FHA loan which I would only have to do a 3.5% down right?

since I would be living in one of the unit then I would get a primary resident interest rate correct?

that's why I only put down 4.15%

Have you used an FHA loan? I don't have the capital to do 20% for the down payment. I'm just getting started. I'm in the education phase at the moment. My plan is to get small multifamily with an FHA loan as my first deal.

What was your first deal like?
