Any investors/realtor have any experience with purchasing duplex/triplex in Kansas city. I'm very interested in learning more and would like to buy 1 soon. Feel free to pm me

Thanks for all the insights.  Also, noticed that the price point below 100k is alot more competitive to acquire homes. @Brent Coombs To answer your question, I would go for the one 200k property with higher upside appreciation. Base on the responses, 4 homes at 50k can lead to more repairs and vacancies.

All things equal assuming a 1% rent to value ratios, would you rather own 1 property at 200k or buy 4 properties at 50k? Love to hear some feedback

@mitch case im looking at buying in lees summit or blue springs area. ideally would like to buy a sfh w > 1% return price to rent ratio.

Hi Greg. Ideally, both but I really like single family homes and would like to move to markets such as Kansas city to get better cash flow and speed up my retirement.
