Hi, I have a question, please. The Seller of a home I bought last year signed a General Warranty Deed to me for a home valued at $300k which I knew had a $135k recorded first lien (conventional bank). However, she had refinanced that mortgage with a $185k mortgage to a private Lender 45 days earlier. The Lender didn't pay off or record the new mortgage until the day after I recorded my Deed. What are my obligations to this private Lender?
