Hello, my name is Joe! I live in metro Detroit and I am looking to get some pointers on where to look for my first investment home. I am an experienced carpenter as that is what I do for a living so I plan on doing a lot of the manual work myself. My wife is good with computers and doing internet searches but not sure how to find our first house. Not to mention not a clue what areas in metro Detroit have better potential. Looking for any tips or guidence anyone here on bigger pockets is willing to give me!
