As a full time business owner and part time investor it is hard to commit to 1.5 hrs to listening to a long distance telephone call.

The $50 fee is a drop in the bucket and the long distance phone call irrelevant. "Convenience" was the reason that I didn't sign up.

If you decide to do a webinar I would pay the $50 to watch the recording of it as I have the time. I have attended several through www.dimdim.com both live and recorded and got a lot out of them.

Have you found that to be helpful?

It has helped greatly but there is no real way to judge just how much without some kind of offer or promotion. The secretary keeps a log of how people hear of us but often is told "we see you everywhere!" I consider FB just another powerful tool for "Branding" purposes. All the tools have to work together to build our Brand and create awareness.

FB does not replace the meet and greets through volunteering and social functions, print, radio, tv, pay per clic or web site marketing - but it compliments them and allows them to go viral.

YouTube is another form of Social Media Marketing that we are trying to harness and can be placed on your FB Company Page or our web site. As we all know audio/video is much more engaging than static pictures and print but few people are taking full advantage of it for business.

Here is a good Facebook E Book to further enlighten:

This sounds very interesting. You've combined the FB information on the businesscard. Social media "addresses" are more becoming standard.

The question of their ROI is still being debated - few know exactly.

The Facebook Pages is a POWERFUL tool that I am just now starting to understand fully. Twitter and Linked-In I'm not so impressed with.... at least not yet. Our Chamber of Commerce hosted a 3 day Social Media Marketing course that I attended a few months ago and they shed a lot of light on the subject.

I think FB Pages are the ideal way to get the word out that you are buying or selling properties.... especially if combined with a website. The key is to make it EASY to pass on your content on to others that may be looking to buy or sell property. The ideal situation is for it to go viral in the area you are targeting.

We have several great threads discussing Facebook and Twitter on Remodel Crazy but this one is by far the longest running http://www.remodelcrazy.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1348&highlight=facebook

My FaceBook Page is no where near were it needs to be but we are working hard to get it updated. Rory Swan from Servicez Unlimited Inc- servicezunlimited.com - in Washington DC has incorporated FB and Twitter into his website along with a live chat session at the bottom of the screen. We will be using his structure as a model to redo our own web site.

The shear power of technology that we have at our fingertips for marketing, research or even entertainment is mind blowing. Those of us that educate ourselves on how to use it will far out-pace our competition that choose to ignore it.

On the flip side - the "up and coming" generations will know this stuff as second nature and we will have to work twice as hard to stay ahead and out market them.

Do you show stencils or a company logo to the designer or is the card pulled from a template?

Is it two-sided (wording on the back)?

I'm always interested in the level of personalization allowed by directing the artisit.

Hi David,

This logo actually began as the Red Barron Pizza logo and I used that for the basic structure. From there I had 3 different designers modifying it until I discovered Keith.... he added the final touches and I have stuck with him ever since.

The back also has full color images with gloss coating. In the future I will just add "Become A Fan" With the Facebook icon on the back side. It is to cluttery right now.

I will try to upload it to my BP folder named Marketing Examples..... the PDF files don't seem to upload so there are a bunch of examples not on there.

I don't understand those votes. I push the button when I really like a post but nothing happens. I figured you have to have a certain number of posts before you can vote for your favorites?

Hey David,

Here is a link to the contractor forum were I posted them to show what Kieth can do http://www.contractortalk.com/f12/low-cost-company-gift-cards-48470/

He does all of my post cards, business cards, gift cards, flyers, brochures and many of my magazine ads. What I like about his design work is the shading, highlights, shadows etc.. I will have him rework my website very soon. I am embarrassed of the way it looks right now but it does very well for SEO.

I paid $200 design fee for each of the business cards for our 3 companies and $60 per thousand for printing after that which includes heavy card stock, full color both sides, gloss both sides and rounded corners. money well spent IMHO

I really enjoy marketing and talking about marketing. :D

Thanks

You can set up a gallery under your profile with the imagery you mentioned; here is a post that I wrote that tells how to do that:

http://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/25/topics/45114-how-to-post-a-picture-

Be aware that posting the images into the forums would be considered promotional, and that the moderators would be inclined to remove that, EXCEPT if you posted it under the "promote your site" forum where promotional links are permitted.

Thank you Sir :D

I would get one of the new stackable units to get more use out of the space.

That would free up a spot for an upper and lower cabinet/ counter top to the left for folding clothes and storage.
