Question for developers, how do you evaluate a land property where the surrounding comps for already developed properties is around 500k - 800k. The land is 1 acre lot of flat land. Thank you for your time

Hey everybody. I’m new to the real estate investing game and I’m looking to network with other investors (newbies also) in the Los Angeles and San Bernandino areas. I’m trying to get outta this analysis paralysis phase and start to walk the walk instead of talk the talk. I know how to do most things like running the numbers on property’s with comps, talking to real estate agents, getting private money, etc... what I find difficult is finding good deals and contractors. So if anyone is in the same boat as me or is looking to add someone in there team, shoot me a DM. Also if anyone knows of any meet up’s in these areas, let me know. It would be appreciated.

Thanks @Brent Kawakami. That’s exactly what I need to start doing. There’s a few coming up that I want to go to so I’m going to make time to attend those.

Good to know. Thanks @Leah Stuever. I have a question. Have u ever partnered with someone in a deal? N if so, how did u distribute the profits? And if an attorney is recommended for this?

Thanks @Leah Stuever, I just stared talking to a loan office n I’m getting my paper work together to see how much I can approve for. Im deciding wether I should sell my house or if I should pull the equity n rent it out. also I’m more interested in multi family homes so that’s the direction I want to go

Hey there BP,

My name is Fernando and I am a new real estate investor looking to begin this grind to financial freedom. I’m 33 yrs old and live in San Bernandeno, CA. I’m looking to invest is in Rental properties. Areas I’m interested in is Texas(Fort Worth, Dallas, and Arlington), Oklahoma, and Southern California. Been reading the bigger pockets books and listening to the BP podcast for about a year now and feel that I need to start taking action on my first deal. I can run the numbers so many times but it’s not going to help me get financial free unless I take action and go for it. Any advice will be helpful and let’s start this journey.

Thanks, Fernando
