1) fear of making a bad decision like I don’t know enough.

I am in need of recommendations for a real estate agent in the Atlanta/surrounding areas. Preferably an agent who is also an investor.  My goal is to complete a purchase by the end of this summer.

@Brian Reichardt is that for single family or is the same true for multi family (2-4 units)?

Can anyone tell me about the area of Thomaston, GA?  What class neighborhood is it?  

@Scott Slocum I’m in the same boat of living in the Bay Area in California. I’m a newbie investor and am looking to invest in Georgia. I feel fortunate in the sense that I have a close family members who leaving Cali and moving just outside of the Atlanta area. One they have investment properties and one has experience as a real estate agent here in Cali, so they are willing to help be my eyes and ears there. That being said, I plan on taking a trip out there soon so that I can see neighborhoods and properties myself and make connections to hopefully build a team there.
