It never happened and we got our large deposit back w/o extending the contract ....I personally think all sellers should be responsible for doing a title search BEFORE listing there homes...This way the buyer isn’t wasting time waiting 3-4 weeks to find out there’s a problem with there deed...The buyer and seller can split the bill but at least they have answers with-in a week of signing p/s

Seems finding a house has become harder and harder...My friend has the funds in the bank to pay cash and still can’t get what he wants...

I’m also concerned because it had 1 bed on the main floor and 1 in the finished attic...Is the attic considered living space??? It also has a 1/2 bath up there...

On the city tax site it shows single family. W/In-Law.,   So I guess it’s Legal from there eyes.

Will having a legal basement in-law cost more for taxes and homeowners ins.??? We don’t plan on renting it out, we want it for extra living space...The house is in Providence...

I forgot to add that I’m not seeing any extra vent pipes on or around the house with this home having 2 -1/2 baths????

I have a question I need answered...I’m thinking of buying a single family house with a legal in-law in the basement.  There are a few good sized windows should something happen that we can get out w/o a problem.,My question is, will I be charged more for taxes or homeowners ins. because it’s a legal basement in-law? This is in Providence near Elmhurst area

I think the sellers lawyer is calling the title insurance company to see if they can fix it so we can close?
