@Darren Sager unfortunately, I cannot make the event next week in NYC. My day job will be in the way. However, please let me know of future events.

@David Thomas My immediate plans are in flux. I would like to develop cash flow through buying and holding. However, I first need to generate capital. As an attorney, I hope to do that through some deals I have coming up. I'm a bit hesitant to start with fix and flip using hard money because of the risks involved, but am here to learn if that is a possibility for me. I do have a contractor I've worked with on my own house.

So in its simplest terms, my plan is to generate capital from my current day job to buy and hold in order to generate cash flow. I am willing to learn about other methods of both generating capital and cash flow, though.

Hello all,

I am a new member from NJ. When I say new, I am brand new to this whole idea of real estate. I own no property other than my home. I am interested in this exciting investment vehicle. I'm here to learn and develop a network so as to allow me to create a portfolio. I'm looking forward to learning. Any beginner's advice, suggestions or ideas welcome. Thanks in advance.
