Our company is located in Yonkers, New York which is in Westchester County, but we own properties throughout Westchester, The Bronx, Connecticut and New Jersey. We currently under contract to purchase a property in Indiana which will be the furtherest we've strayed from home.

It sounds like you have some experienced people to learn from. Definitely take advantage of their advice.

A suggestion for the use of BP. It will work best if you update your profile to show were you are located and other things that people find useful to know. Easier to network that way.

I agree with you REI, between my father and my boss alone I'm getting great field knowledge that I doubt can be learned in a classroom.

Oh and ill be sure to update my profile, thank you for that.

Hey guys, I'm brand new to this board, and looking to further my REI and general RE knowledge. I am just getting into real estate although a lot of my family is already in it. My father has been a broker for 25 years with the largest privately owned company in our area, and my grandfather owned various pieces of property where he lived. Now, I'm working with one of my father's colleague's doing investments and plan to get my license within the next month. I'm hoping to gain a lot of insight from this board.
