@Bill Hampton Thanks for the info! I was looking into REIA today actually, so I'll definitely be seeing about getting involved there as well.

@Denny Faircloth I have set a deadline that by the end of 2018, I want to have my first property purchased and rented (or at least ready to rent). I think I'm leaning more towards turn key, but I wouldn't shy away from a rehab and rent, as long as the rehab wasn't too intense. I think I could get in over my head on my first property if it were a major rehab.

@Tom Ott Hello, and thanks for the message!

@Mario Mormile That's a great suggestion, thanks! I was in need of a new podcast. Atlanta traffic is no joke!

@Denny Faircloth Hello Denny! I'm currently in the North Druid Hills area in Atlanta. Rentals and flipping interest me the most, but I think I want to start with rentals and get some experience with that first.

@Richie Choy Thanks! I will definitely look into REIA. I've seen it mentioned in a few places, so I'll look into it more.

@Tony Cash

@Tony Cash Thanks for the reply! I was looking at getting into rentals, but still have much to learn. That's awesome that you are finishing up your second rental, best of luck with that!

@Chris Collins

@Chris Collins Hello Chris! Atlanta is great for me! I'm currently in tech, which is booming in Atlanta right now. Atlanta is definitely a food city, there are too many to try on just one visit!

Hello all! My name is Evan and I've lived in Atlanta for a while, but I'm just getting into real estate investing. I have done a decent amount of reading and research, but I still have a lot to learn. After signing up on BiggerPockets, I thought I would reach out to meet new people that have a similar interests! I hope I have the opportunity to meet a lot of people, and I'm sure I'll be posting plenty of questions this year. Happy New Year!
