Hello everyone! 

I'm excited to share that my fiancée and I are about to close on a duplex where we'll be living on one side and renting out the other. The tenant on the rental side has a yearly lease that ends in June.

We've drafted a lease and pet addendum using the Missouri lease documents available here on BiggerPockets, but we've also tweaked and added some items to suit our property and needs. My fiancée works for a property management company, so we've tried to cover all bases, but we want to ensure everything is legally sound.

Understanding that it might be a bit unconventional to ask on a public forum, we're hoping to find an attorney or someone knowledgeable who can review our lease to:

1. Verify compliance with local, state, and federal landlord-tenant laws.
2. Identify any risky or vague language.
3. Recommend any necessary adjustments.

Any advice or referrals would be greatly appreciated!
