@Carl Fischer thank you for the advice!!! Also quick question, do I have the option of opening up a Roth IRA or a Self Roth IRA? Or do I only have the option of opening up one of them as a 16 year old? If both, what are the benefits of opening up either one right now? And also, if were to open up one of those accounts my money would recieve compound interest coreect?

Hey guys I'm 16 years old and would love to begin my real estate investing career after college, which is still a far ways off. I will more than likely get a degree in engineering and then find a job. I would like to work a few years in the engineering industry and have a side hustle of real estate investing to get my foot in the door. Eventually I want to switch over to real estate investing and build long term wealth so I can retire. I am aware that if you save an put money into a 401k or a Roth IRA, it could be difficult or costly to take money out to invest. So my question is, any money I make from now on, through college, and after with engineering, where or what should I save my money to?
