Hi all, I'm finally ready to purchase my first property. I've been working as an interior designer for many years with investors on fix and flips where they always went over asking price. I'm currently living in Miami, but due to the inflated prices here I believe I'd have to travel outside of state to find a deal. I'm looking for an affordable city to either fix and flip or renovate and rent out. Any advice on where to look would be greatly appreciated. I also have a lot of Airbnb experience so that's a possibility too. Tia!

Can anyone here tell me if they used any of these to purchase their STR property and if so which one was most helpful/accurate?
thanks!

     Hi all,

I'm relatively new here, and while this may be a longer post I'm hoping someone can lead me in the right direction.

I purchased a fixer upper in Brooklyn,NY in 2005 for 440k that I renovated myself over the years. People started to reach out to me for design help after seeing what I did to my home, which led me to my interior design career. I started to airbnb my home in 2014 and was super successful with it, pulling in 11k a month and even had a couple commercials filmed there. I started designing for investors with STR in mind or buy and flips. Ive even had Ryan Serhant as the listing agent for one of the properties I designed for an investor.

Fast forward I had to sell my home due to a divorce and now looking to find some properties that will pull in that kind of income. Any advice on how I could find an investor who has the finances but doesn't want to bother with any of the construction or management of a STR?

Hi Chris, Im a licensed real estate agent in Miami. I work primarily with investors for either buy/flip or that perfect STR property. With my background In design, I also offer full setup for airbnb and property management. Feel free to message me

Hey everyone, I'm new here and very excited to get started! A little bit about me, Ive been doing interior design for several years, with my focus being on investor buy/flips and STR. Ive learned where to cut corners and where not to. Designing for investment greatly differs than the personal home.

I was managing my own airbnb home in Brooklyn for several years and turned it into a very successful business with round the clock bookings and 5* reviews. Now living in Miami I'm looking to get into STR property management and would love to get started asap. If anyone has any leads or suggestions on how to get started it would be greatly appreciated.

thank you,

Estee
